Goober is a Rescue Transfer from Greenville County Animal Care Services to Pet Haven of South Carolina, Inc., as his time at the Care Services was running
out. We received Cooper on Sunday, Dec 30th, 2007, one day prior to his scheduled Euthanasia date.
Little Goober is a cruelty-neglect case and was seized by Greenville County Animal Control. Goober has trust issues and requires a patient, experienced dog
lover to gain his confidence and rebuild his trust in humans. He cannot be placed in a family with children under the age of 16.
Goober is a Hound/German Shepherd Mix, with a great personality. He loves to play, eat and sleep - not necessarily in that order. His date of birth is 9/20/2007
He has been neutered, is current on his shots and tested HW negative..
He is longing for a loving, caring forever home, where he can forget the cruelty and neglect he had to suffer at the hands of his irresponsible first owner.
Goober was adopted Sept. 23rd, 2008 - what a wonderful birthday present for Goober, who now has his own family to love him forever.
Bully now named Zak by his new family

Bully is a Rescue Transfer from Greenville County Animal Care Services to Pet Haven of South Carolina, Inc. We received Bully on Sunday, Dec 30th, 2007. Bully is an abandonment case.
He is a 4 months old Collie / Shar Peih / Yellow Lab Mix with a lot of attitude. His favorite activity is the teasing of the other dogs. All toys, treats, shoes, paper and sleeping pillows are his. And he makes sure to add anything and everything, he can get his paws and teeth on and into, to his ever growing loot.
Bully has been an extremely lucky little puppy, as he has just been adopted into a wonderful family, who will give him the best home he could have hoped for.
This is one of the happy endings all resuce organizations pray for, when taking in an animal in need.

This is an extremely calm, well behaved, loving dog. Ginger quickly showed her loyalty and trust. She is house-trained and will let you know, when she needs to go.
She is confident, she will find a loving, caring forever home, where she can show her new human friends her unconditional love and devotion.
